For families considering reaching out

Reaching out is the hardest part. We made everything else as easy as possible.

One button. One call. Completely private.

  1. Click

Visit foundhope.org and click "Talk to Someone." That's it. You don't need to create an account, enter your name, or provide any personal information.

  2. Connect

You're anonymously connected to an available Found Hope navigator. Neither of you will see the other's phone number or name. The call is routed through our system so both sides stay completely private — similar to how rideshare apps connect people without sharing personal contact information.

  3. Talk

Your navigator is there to listen. They're not a therapist. They're not going to give you a checklist. They're a family member of someone who's struggled with addiction — someone who genuinely understands what you're carrying.

  4. Find your next step

By the end of the call, you'll feel less alone. You may also have a clearer sense of what to do next — whether that's a support group, a helpline, or simply the knowledge that other families have been through this and found a way forward.

What to expect

Before the call

  • No registration required
  • No names collected
  • No records kept
  • No cost — ever

During the call

  • Your navigator will listen first — they're not going to rush you
  • You can share as much or as little as you want
  • They may share a little of their own experience so you know you're not alone
  • They can help you think through resources and next steps

After the call

  • No follow-up from Found Hope — your privacy is protected
  • You're welcome to call again whenever you need to
  • What you shared stays between you and your navigator

Common questions

Do I have to give my name?

No. Found Hope calls are completely anonymous. You will never be asked for your name, phone number, location, or any personal information.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Nothing you share on a Found Hope call is recorded or retained. Your navigator is bound by Found Hope's privacy standards.

What if I'm in a crisis?

Found Hope navigators are not crisis counselors.

If you or your loved one is in immediate danger, please call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Our navigators can help point you in the right direction, but please reach out to emergency services if there is immediate danger.

What if no navigator is available?

We're building our navigator roster to ensure availability. If no one is available at the moment you call, you'll be given the option to leave an anonymous message and a navigator will return your call — still through the anonymous system.

You've read enough. You already know if this is for you.
